6 Days Flying Safari Uganda Gorilla Safari
Day 01
Have breakfast, to transfer from your Hotel to Kajjansi airstrip or Entebbe Airport for a charter flight to Queen Elizabeth National park. You will reach in the afternoon and then go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. This trip will reward you with game like Hippos, Buffaloes elephants and plenty of water birds at the banks. Dinner and overnight Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 02
Have a cup of tea to go for a game drive in the park to catch up with the early risers and predators returning to their hide outs. Expect animals like leopards, lions, elephants, jackals, Uganda Kob, Defassa waterbucks, bush bucks and many more. After the game drive have late breakfast at the lodge and then embark on the journey to Bwindi via Ishasha sector. Watch out for game while you travel. The Ishasha sector is famous for its tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort camp / Mantana tented camp
Day 03 & 04
Have breakfast to drive to the park head quarters for briefing before you set off to the forest in search for Gorillas. This will take you about 1-8 hours depending on the movement of these humble giants. This is a tedious activity but encountering these close animal relatives of man will erase the poor memories you went through in trying to find them. It is astounding.” Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort camp / Mantana tented camp.

Uganda is the richest country for birds in Africa. It has almost half the species known on the African continent and over 10% of those recorded throughout the entire world. Over 1,000 species of birds have been recorded to exist in the country. Some of the exciting species you will view include birds of water and land shore, birds of scrub and woodland, forest birds and birds of the open plain.
In order for you to enjoy most of our birding safaris you are supposed to arrive early in the morning at Entebbe international airport. This is where you shall meet with our guide for a small briefing.
Day 05
Have breakfast to drive to Lake Mburo National Park. You will reach in the late morning to have lunch and then in the afternoon go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo to look out for game and birds on the lake shores. Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented Camp/ Rwonyo Rest Camp.
Day 06
Early morning go for a nature walk along the lake trail to search for game and also birds which will enable you spot the rare shoebill if you are lucky. You then retire for late breakfast at the lodge and then embark on the journey back to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at Sheraton Hotel / Serena Hotel/ Hotel Africana.
